Visiting Israel is not just a look into the past - it is a glimpse into what God is doing today. For the many travelers who visit Israel, they get the opportunity to experience God's Word come to life. They get to walk where Jesus walked, see the lands of Abraham, and reflect on the stories of Moses. But God's Word isn't just stories of the past, they are words of transformation in the present. Steven Rogers visit to Israel transformed his relationship with the Lord. Not only did he end up writing a book about his experience, but he also found himself working through forgiveness for past wrongs. 155: Finding A Christian Church In Israel

Did you know that less than 2% of the people living in Israel are Christian? That can make it extremely hard to find a place of worship while you are there on holiday. Not only that - if you google churches in Israel - you will likely find a lot of markers for places of Biblical significance (ie. where Jesus turned water into wine or where Jesus multiplied the fish and loaves to feed over 5,000 people.) So then, how do you find a group of believers to worship with in Israel? In this episode I cover a number of options and share a few resources to help you find a worship service on your next trip.

Every 30 hours there is a major fatality on the UK Railway Networks, but who responds? Who shines the light of Christ in the midst of those chaotic moments for passengers, employees, and families alike? Railway Mission was born in the 1800s when individuals gathered around train stations to pray for their communities. Today, they continue to minister through Pastoral care, Christian calendars, and simply being present for those in need. In this episode, Liam Johnston, CEO of Railway Mission, joins us to talk about the many ways the Lord is working through Railway travel.

Many airports around the world offer some sort of chapel and pastoral service, but yet not many of us know what that ministry really looks like in action. Bishop Hayes serves as the Senior Chaplain at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy. Each day he has the privilege of serving the 60,000 individuals working at the airport in addition to the 190,000 passengers who travel through the airport each day.  In this episode, he joins us to discuss what airport ministry looks like at DFW, some of the joys and struggles, how you can support the ministry, and how you can connect with an airport ministry near you!
